The first outcome of 2L8 LAB is a capsule collection of 5 watches, designed by Tony Ranidro.
The 5 items are aggredated in an hyper-colored package, but they are very different one to another: Mouth To Mouth has lips on it, G.H.O.G.H. (Go Hard Or Go Home) is military green and invites you to taste strong emotions, The Observer features an octopus. And then you have the two models It's time TOO create: Happiness, with sperm counts and ovules, and Sadness, in which sperm counts are alone and melt with the transparent wristband. Five estranged artworks, which reinvent the concept of time according to brand’s philosophy: IT’S ALWAYS TOO LATE.
The artist... Who is Tony Ranidro
His present and past life are surrounded by mistery, but his talent in creating original colors and figures with a pinch of self-mockery is really unique.
He’s been a street artist for years and he also designed for web and magazines.
Just like TOO LATE, his sense of irony is one of his main tools of expression.
The artist is in his 30’s and he lives between Italy and the Moon. He loves surf, snowboard, rock and rhythm… and he can get in contact with anyone who’s sharing his vision.
